Disassembly - 5/29/2000

Before fabric stripping

• Covering appears conventional.
• Seaplane grommets used on trailing edge in each bay.
• Rib stitching on 3" spacing after leading edge, which was stitched with a 1.5" spacing.
• Control horns are on lower side.
• Bias tape was used on the trailing edge.

After fabric stripping

• Tubes appear to be in good condition.
• Painted in silver, maybe dope?
• No significant corrosion noticed except possible pits on control horns.
